What is the Asymmetrical Counterweight on the Universal? What does it do
The patented sliding counterweight creates an imbalance on the bar, which produces a greater gravitational pull on one side of the body. How sturdy is the Burn Machine equipment
The Burn Machine is so confident about the solid steel construction of our machines, we offer a limited lifetime warranty on all equipment. The only maintenance you may require is the occasional lubrication of the rotating grips.
Is there any maintenance required on the machines
The machines should be maintenance-free. However, some units may require occasional retightening of the bolts. Also, temperature changes can sometimes make the rotation of the handles feel stiff. If this happens, simply spray a “dry silicone spray” into all four grooves of the handles. ONLY DRY SILICONE SPRAY SHOULD BE USED. Over time, lubrication of the unit may result in a powdery substance appearing on the handles. Simply wipe that handles down with water and a mild cleaning solution and the powder will disappear.
What makes the handles rotate? Is it ball-bearings
No. The rotating handles are designed with a friction-bearing bushing.
